This week in our Vibrant Family Values series, we talked about how We Choose Unity (with the important distinction that unity is not uniformity).
Bobby Barzyk shares how God works through our unity as Christ followers. Check out his story:
"Many Government Jobs are in a union, the President gives the state of the union speach, we have union trade workers, we also use union in database structure. It is no secret that a union in any form is designed to protect and combine the power of its members. But when we form unity in Jesus Christ we are able to achieve things that were thought to be unachievable.
Through unity in the holy spirit our reach goes to unimaginable lengths. We are all made in God's image, we all think differently, we all have different talents, problem solving skills, and very different lives in the flesh. When we all form unity in Jesus Christ and truly live out his word we are able to work in a focused and synchronized way that is otherwise unachievable. This is how Gods work is done. This is how many miracles are made. Vibrant really makes me feel like part of the Unity."
